Menu here taste good. Noodles not dry and tasty. Hokkien waa satisfying with plenty of park lards. A little pricey for the place but overall a good place to eat Chinese cuisine.
Fried Hokkien noodle has that good old taste for us Gen X; personally it brought back fond memories of my childhood days where I would cycle at 9pm on a Friday night to 'tapao' fried Hokkien noodle as supper for my family. The stir fried minced pork with oil blanched Japanese taufu was delicious too. The butter pork slice - right mix for eating with white rice. Lady boss friendly and made us feel welcome. Lots of choices - will be back soon to try out the individual dishes.
Lovely little spot! I really appreciate that they offer a special no-meat noodle set and even go the extra mile by adding more tofu and vegetables—such a thoughtful touch for those of us who prefer vegetarian options. The food is not only well-prepared but also really delicious, with flavors that feel homemade and comforting. The auntie running the place is super friendly and chatty—she’ll happily strike up a conversation and make you feel right at home. It gives the whole place a cozy, welcoming vibe that’s hard to find these days. The only small downside is that there’s no air-conditioning, so it can get a bit warm on hot days. But honestly, with the great food and friendly service, it’s a small thing and doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and want something hearty and satisfying!

They are very friendly and make you feel welcome, seem to know all the customers that come for take away. You can call and ordered first before you come. Ordered the Marmite chicken and salted egg prawn mantis and it tasted very homely and delicious.
